18+ Tools For Domain Name Analysis

Domain names are life and blood of Internet. If you're a Webmaster, blogger or a casual surfer, domain names makes you browse the internet conveniently. However, sometimes you may need to query something about a domain name. It can be simple registrant and registrar information. Here's a collection of domain analysis tools from ViewDNS on a single page.

Reverse IP Lookup - Provide a hostname or IP address to this tool, and it will list all the web sites hosted on that server.

DNS Record Lookup - Run this tool to check all the settings (MX, CNAME records) configured for a given domain name.
Domain / IP Whois - If you want to check who owns a particular domain, then this tool is just for you.
Get HTTP Headers - You can easily extract HTTP headers for a domain name through this tool.
Spam Database Lookup - This yet another handy tool to check whether your mail server is on any spam database lists.
Google Pagerank Checker - Punch in your domain name and check your current Google page rank instantly.
Reverse DNS Lookup - This tool gives you the hostname of the web server for a given IP address.
MAC Address Lookup - If you want to know the manufacturer of the network device attached with a server, simply provide the MAC address of the device.
