  • Your albums - You can also use Google+ photos or albums to select a perfect graphic for your event's theme. You can crop these photos to get the desired portion for the theme. Cropping these photos won't affect the original photograph in the album.
  • Direct upload - And last but not the least is the direct uploading facility that lets you take a photograph either from your computer's hard drive or from your smartphone's camera. This adds more professionalization to the event's theme especially if it is a private event.

  • Date & time - No event can be successful unless invitees don't know the date and time when it is going to be hosted by the organizer. There are two methods to provide date and time for your Google+ event. The first method includes a single entry for date and time when it is going to be hosted. The second method provides you with two fields of start and finish time so that participants can also know the exact duration of the entire event.
  • Location - You can also provide the details of the exact location where you're hosting your event. This field populates with the hyper-linked Google Maps location of the area. This way all attendees can easily find the location through Google Maps. In case, it is an online event, you can leave this field blank.
  • Additional details - Although this is an optional field, but it is very handy in some situations where you want to give additional instructions or suggestions to the participants. This field is generally used for official or commercial events where the organizers have good number of instructions for the participants.
  • Website/blog URL - If you've created a dedicated page for the upcoming event on a website or a blog, you can provide its URL for the participants so that they can get detailed information about the entire event. Make sure this URL is public and doesn't require a login.
  • Ticket selling URL - This optional field is mostly used for commercial and business events where participants need to buy a ticket before entering the event venue. Always double check this URL as it is one of the most important information for the attendees. Do not shorten ticket selling URL as it may raise suspicion in the minds of some of the participants resulting in fewer conversions.
  • Personalized invite video URL - You can also upload an invite video for the participants that they can view as soon as they receive an invite from you. You can either leave a personal message for the invitees or you can hire a professional to create one for you. These invite videos can do wonders in elevating the attendance level.
  • Transit and parking information - If you're hosting an event in a crowded metro city or in a remote area, you can provide additional traffic details along with the information related to parking facilities near the venue. Since this is an optional field, most small scale event organizers can leave this field empty.
  • Invitee selection - And last but not the least is the regular user selection field whom you want to invite. You can either select a public visibility or can select individual Google+ users. You can also include selective circles for your event. Note: If you've selected 'Events on air' option in the advanced settings, it will override the visibility making your event visible to everyone on the web.

Google+ events has an excellent feature called 'Party mode', that enables smartphone users to upload event photos in real time at a central shared location on the dedicated event's page. This enables all the invitees to contribute in making the event successful as they create a database of event's photographs that are automatically shared with everyone attending that event.

This restriction is due to the sheer volume of participants that may arrive on public Google+ events.
